GRANDMOTHER to the ten year old boy that was found dead in an Emmasdale maize field in Lusaka after he went missing has called for justice over his death.
Alice Banda prayed for her late grandson, Chikondi’s soul not to rest until justice for his death is served.
Chikondi is believed to have been kidnapped last week as last Thursday, while he was coming from school in Chilulu Garden.
But some residents in Emmasdale found his lifeless body in a maize field a few days after he was reported missing.
Banda took to social media in grief, expressing her love for the late grandson.
“My Chikondi I still can’t believe I put you to rest my grandson! People are evil my Chikondi sure, I fail to understand why they had to murder you like that,” Banda posted with crying emojis on her Facebook page.
“I serve a God of justice and may God’s hand of justice follow everyone who touched you. Chikondi, let your soul not rest until justice for your death (is) done.”
Zambia Police deputy spokesperson Danny Mwale confirmed the death to the media, revealing that police have started investigations as they noted foul play.
