THE Road Transport and Safety Agency (RTSA) has cautioned all road users that intend to travel to Chipata in Eastern Province for the chest-revealing Nc’wala traditional ceremony to ensure road safety laws are adhered to.

The ceremony will take place at Mtenguleni royal village in Kasenengwa district this weekend.
In a statement issued by RTSA acting head of Public Relations Mukela Mangolwa, the Agency stated that all those who will be driving, especially before and during the ceremony, ought not to do so under the influence of alcohol.

He added that excessive speeding will also not be condoned.
The RTSA has since deployed enough officers in the province to ensure total compliance among motorists and othe road users.
Mangolwa added that the Agency is further calling on members of the public to be pro-active and make use of the RTSA national call centre by reporting bad, careless and dangerous drivers to the toll free 983 and WhatsApp line 0965429499.
