There is tension at Golden Peacock Hotel in Blantyre following the death of one of its employees Joseph Ngulube.

Family members are accusing the hotel management of failing to provide the needed support to the deceased’s family, a development that has forced it to dump Ngulube’s body at the hotel reception.

Meanwhile, the hotel reception has turned into a photograph studio as the mourners are now taking pictures, saying this is their only opportunity to enter the hotel premises.

Currently, police and hotel management are in a closed-door meeting to discuss the way forward.
