A MAN of Lusaka’ John Howard has committed suicide following an argument with his wife over the salary which he did not take home
Ronald Kavuma, 37, hanged himself with a cable yesterday, December 27, 2022 around 12:00 hours.
Zambia Police deputy spokesperson Rae Hamoonga confirmed the incident.
When the police rushed to the scene after being alerted, they found the deceased lying on the floor with the cable believed to have been used to hang himself, still tied around his neck.
“The body has since been deposited in the University Teaching Hospitals mortuary awaiting postmortem. Police have opened an inquiry file into the matter,” Mwale stated.
Meanwhile, in a similar occurrence, a 17 year old Juvenile of Kafue District committed suicide by hanging himself after a misunderstanding with his grandmother yesterday around 08:30 hours in Kachesa area.
“Police visited the scene and found the body hanging on a tree in the nearby bush away from the village.” Mwale disclosed
