TWO young boys of Livingstone who were reported missing on Saturday have been found dead in defunct car parked in the David Livingstone College of Education.
The toddlers, both aged four of Zambia Youth in Dambwa North area have been identified as Killian Munya and Crack Nyambe. The lifeless bodies were discovered yesterday after the children vanished on Saturday around 19:00 hours.
When Police officers rushed to the scene, they found the once energetic and curious children lifeless without any clothes with all the windows of the vehicle closed.
Police officers also observed that both children were bleeding from the mouth and nose and later discovered the toddlers’ clothes inside the vehicle.
Zambia Police deputy spokesperson Danny Mwale confirmed the incident and said the victims’ bodies are lying at Batoka Hospital mortuary awaiting postmortem. Mwale said an inquiry had been opened in the matter.
Back in March this year, two boys of Sesheke in Western Province were found dead in similar circumstances.
Oscar Kalubi aged four years and five year old Emmanuel Njamba were discovered dead in a vehicle parked within a yard in their neighbourhood after missing for a day.
