POST Newspaper Liquidator Lewis Mosho has announced the start of payment to former employees.

The ‘stinging’ private newspaper was controversially closed in 2016 after 25 years of operation rendering hundreds of employees jobless.

In a short statement this week, Mosho through his law firm announced that “take notice that the Post Newspapers Limited in Liquidation has commenced payment of dues to former employees of the company…”

According to the statement, all former employees or their representatives should contact the committee of former Post employees constituted by Liquidator earlier this year.

Sources close to the development say all employees are to be paid a three-month salary lamp sum.

The source further said Mosho hoped to complete payments within December 2020.
