THE story of renowned gospel singer BJ Ngosa could be likened to that of Job in the Bible, a man who lost everything and still chose to live for Jesus.

Ngosa who lost his dear wife and child in the same month last year and later lost his brother this year still chooses to cling to the Lord.

The gospel singer was subjected to witnessing the passing of his loved ones last year after a tragic road accident claimed the life of his 45 year old wife of 22 years and four year old son.

The two were laid beside each other at Lusaka’s memorial park.

In August this year, Ngosa lost his young brother Matthew Ngosa to cancer whom he said he loved wholeheartedly.

The duo also did powerful gospel songs together which have stood the test of time and changed people’s lives.

Despite the unfortunate happenings, the artiste wrote that he is still comforted by the love of his maker.

He recounted how his wife loved Jesus and made sure that their four children knew the Lord from a tender age.

Ngosa vowed to serve the Lord wholeheartedly and encouraged the masses to never give up on God.

“I had a beautiful wife, born on February 2, 1978, who made the choice to marry me on April 7, 2001. On April 6, 2023, she went to be with the Lord, and I laid her to rest at Memorial Park, beside our youngest son, who was born on December 7, 2018, and passed away at the tender age of 4.”

“I hurt, but I am comforted because my wife loved Jesus. She served Him wholeheartedly and taught all four of our children to love and serve God. “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it” (Proverbs 22:6),” wrote BJ.

He stated that as a believer, he is of the view that he will one day reunite with his loved ones.

“I trust that God will continue to do exceedingly, abundantly more than I can ask or imagine (Ephesians 3:20) while I live. Through my life, I believe He will bless not only what my loved ones left behind but also the entire nation.

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future” (Jeremiah 29:11).”

“Now that you know, serve Jesus alone. “Choose this day whom you will serve… But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord” (Joshua 24:15),” shared Ngosa.
