The University Teaching Hospital have told Kalemba that the operation conducted on music artiste, Dandy Crazy this morning went well, as the hospital is now observing how the victim is responding to treatment.
Meanwhile, President Hakainde Hichilema has urged Zambians to pray for the musician whose official name is Wesley Chibambo.
Chilambo was last evening involved in a road traffic accident near Kapiri on the Great North Road which left him badly injured and four others dead.
Dandy Crazy was immediately taken to Kabwe Central Hospital and later evacuated to UTH where he is receiving treatment.
“The operation Mr. Wesley Chibambo (Dandy Krazy) underwent in the morning went well.
We are now observing how he is responding to the treatment he is receiving,” UTH, Adult Hospital public relations officer Nzeba chanda
stated.
In a Facebook post, President Hichilema assured the country that the doctors and nurses at the country’s biggest hospital were doing their best to save the life of Dandy Crazy.
The Head of State also urged the country to pray for the families of the four who lost their lives on the spot.
“The family, fans, and friends of Wesley Chibambo (Dandy Krazy), are in our prayers today.”
“Our Doctors and Nurses at the University Teaching Hospital are doing everything they can following his tragic road traffic accident, which sadly claimed the lives of 4 citizens. Let us keep their families in all our thoughts as we enter the new year,” wrote President Hichilema.
