A LUSAKA husband has managed to cough out some cash from a man who ploughed from his garden of pleasure and left a seed in his wife while they were still on separation.

30-year-old Innocent Chileshe of Kabanana compound separated with his wife, Precious Katongo aged 35 for one year six months in their seven year union but little did he know that his habitual chasing her would land her in the arms of another.
Like Danny Kaya and Runnel’s hit song back in the days “when you don’t love her right, someone else will help you love her, “Baka Kwafwa,” Chileshe was indeed helped in loving his wife from his namesake.
Chileshe was disappointed to learn that another man identified as Innocent Mutonga, 45, had actually been inserting and hardening his baby making banana into his wife’s tunnel of pleasure.
After discovering that he was spending money on a child that is not his, Chileshe took legal action against Mutonga at the Matero Local Court seeking K60,000 compensation for the adultery that he believed shattered his marriage.
Chileshe recounted that when his wife returned from her mother’s house after reconciliation, she was already pregnant with Mutonga’s child but decided to keep it a secret.
He shared how he supported the child financially throughout the wife’s pregnancy, going above and beyond to provide for her wellbeing.
It is believed that Chileshe’s wife experienced some complications during her pregnancy, leading to the two visiting a witchdoctor to seek traditional medicines,
The juju man was the one who spilled the beans, ultimately revealing that the child she was carrying was not Chileshe’s but Mutonga’s.
Chileshe allegedly left his wife in the jungle on plane sight and like a predator, Mutonga devoured his lovely wife like a civil servant eating hungry lion on pay day.
“I sacrificed everything I could to ensure that the baby was healthy, I even stopped purchasing custard porridge and opted for tobwa to save money for my wife’s well-being. I sacrificed my own comfort for the sake of my wife and the child she was carrying,” Chileshe lamented.
But Mtonga defended his actions by claiming that he met Chileshe’s wife at her mother’s home and was under the impression that she was single as she was chased by him.
“I stumbled upon Chileshe’s wife whom he had left for a long period, I am denying allegations of adultery because I did not find her married at the time, her status as a single woman led me to believe that I wasn’t engaging in adulterous behavior,” Mtonga asserted.
And Katongo, the woman at the center of the controversy jumped to Mtonga’s defense, revealing that she had been repeatedly chased from her matrimonial house by Chileshe, who would only seek reconciliation when she appeared attractive to him.
“I was pregnant but I didn’t know because I was having irregular periods. I only realised I was pregnant after a while, but I was terrified to tell Chileshe because of his violent tendencies. I feared that he might harm me if I admitted the truth about the baby.”
In her ruling, Magistrate Harriet Mulenga declared that separation is not equivalent to divorce as only a court of law can grant a divorce, and until that happens, a couple remained legally married.
Magistrate Mulenga condemned Chileshe’s actions of exploiting his wife’s vulnerability for a long period and hoping for her to betray him by engaging in extramarital affairs.
“While we can understand that Katongo who is still young, may have made a mistake due to the prolonged absence of her husband, this does not excuse Chileshe’s attempts to profit from the situation, Chileshe should have taken the high road and worked towards a divorce rather than resorting to underhanded tactics,” she said.
Magistrate Mulenga further delivered her final ruling on the case, ordering Mtonga to pay a compensation of K15,000 to Chileshe.
“The claim is successful, the court has ordered that Mtonga compensates Chileshe with K15,000 by the end of June.”
