Leader of the Patriots and Economic Progress Sean Tembo has been taken to Court for referring the remedial actions taken by government to cushion the escalating prices of mealie meal to solitary sex.
Instead of using they cyber space to rebuild his image following his poor performance in the August 12, 2021 poll were he gathered goose-eggs and offering positive criticism Tembo resorted to snubbing government on Facebook for selling cheaper ZNS mealie.
Tembo’s foul mouth landed him on the wrong side of the law as he attracted a charge of insulting language.
The facebook vulgar king who was confined to a cell pending investigations into his demeaning remarks could not keep up with his bravado as he went frail immediately he was taken into custody .
Tembo was later released from police custody after he was rumoured dead by some social media bloggers.
According to reports before Court Tembo is alleged to have offended Abel Mashowo on October 17, 2023, when he said; “Bally is selling a few bags of ZNS mealie meal using Shoprite, hoping to create a perception of low price is equal [to] masturbation”,
The ‘self -stimulation’ remarks were likely to cause Mashowo to break the law and commit an offense against the vulgar king.
Appearing before Lusaka chief resident magistrate Davies Chibwili, Tembo pleaded not guilty to the charge.
Magistrate chibwili adjourned the case to February 1, 2024 for commencement of trial.
