ABOUT three months ago, cyber bullies and online judges without Juries were at it again to pass judgement on singer, James Sakala’s wife after their wedding pictures surfaced.
Suffice to say, this is so typical of most Zambians as they are fond of cyber bullying celebrity wives. Not long ago Chef 187’s wife was trending for the same thing.
Appearing on ‘On The Table,’ Sakala who read the posts and comments was forced to tell his newly wedded wife to turn off her data for some time just so she could not be disturbed.
“When I saw people cyber bullying my wife, I told her that “turn off your data, just stay away from social media.” You know what, every person is not good for people out there. Have you noticed that every celebrity wife is [unattractive] or is old or is whatever…that’s how it is out there,” he lamented.
“I remember the first time Chef’s wedding pictures came out, people were cyber bullying his wife, everyone. I have seen people cyber bully anyone, Kidist c’mon so I mean. I told my wife, I said boi… I don’t care what people are saying out there, we are starting this life, me and you…that’s what we should focus on.”
To his shock, his mbambo responded that she didn’t pay attention to the nay sayers.
“Then she was like, don’t worry, inshifiposeleko amano (I haven’t paid attention to that). And she was okay but maybe she was offended, sometimes you know just how it is,” said Sakala.
The newly wedded hubby was also recently criticised for giving marriage advice in the two months he had stayed in marriage.
In response to the criticisms over his husband-wife advice, the folk music artiste noted that he didn’t see anything wrong with his wife nor did he commit a crime by giving the little knowledge he had about matrimony.
“Even after 30 years, people can still say something if I drop advice especially those who have stayed in marriage for 80 years.
I don’t see anything wrong with my woman I really love her,” he shared.
