As FAZ/MTN Super Division league surprise package MUZA FC prepares to take on Forest Rangers at the 60,000 capacity Heroes Stadium for the ABSA Cup this Saturday, UPND youth chairperson is working to give the game its deserving hype.

Liswaniso, known in political circles as General Mosquito has briefly suspended his radio station appearances where he explains UPND fulfilled campaign promises to mobilise and facilitate for more than a thousand youths to attend the game.

For Liswaniso, he believes that by watching their fellow young people play and earn money from talent and skills, youths will be encouraged to also use their abilities to earn and their by reducing the burden of unemployment.

He pledged to mobilise more than one thousand supporters to buy tickets for whom he will buy tickets for the game.

“We are going to mobilise 1000 plus supporters who will even buy the tickets which will encourage the young people to buy and facilitate for ourselves to go to Heroes stadium so that we can support the two teams,” Liswaniso said.

Meanwhile, Liswaniso urged the nation unite in enhancing local sports teams as he noted that there wasn’t enough done to support local teams.

“We have not done more as a country to support our local teams whenever they are playing.

” If we support each other, even the clubs from Europe and everywhere will have the interest watching (local) football and even come to this country to buy players and play in those countries.

He added that the youths shall continue supporting government through the Ministry of Youth Sports and Arts in the development of sports as they believe there is no minor sport.

Liswaniso further emphasised the need to support young talents at grassroot levels in order to curb illicit activities among them.
