STUDENTS of Better Living School of Nursing in Monze district awoke to the shocking discovery of their dead colleague this morning.
Agness Mang’wato, 23, a third year student died in her sleep and her lifeless body was discovered in her hostel this morning around 06:00 hours.
Her friends say Agness only complained of a headache last evening before she retired to bed.
When attempts were made to wake her up for their usual routines, it was discovered that she was dead.
Agness lived in Chikankata district of Southern province and was daughter of Ngangula secondary Head Master, Mr Mang’wato.
“Very sad development. The friends are so devastated after noticing that she doesn’t wake up in the morning,” commented Linda Muleya.
Southern Province Deputy Commanding Officer, Moono Namalongo confirmed the incident to Kalemba and said police is yet to issue an official statement on the matter.
