President Hakainde Hichilema has expressed his satisfaction with the increasing number of citizens venturing into maize production this farming season.
Recognizing the severity of the ongoing food crisis, president Hichilema emphasized the critical importance of boosting production as the primary solution.
He conveyed his confidence that the challenges ahead would not deter Zambia from achieving its dream of becoming an international food basket.
“We are hardworking citizens and surely, the challenges before us will not stop us from realising Zambia’s dream of being a food basket for the region, continent, and the global community at large,” said President Hichilema.
