THE stage is set, the rhythm is building, excitement is palpable for a sensational musical extravaganza in the heart of Lusaka Zambia.
American maestro, Ne-Yo, a three-time Grammy-winning virtuoso, has arrived in the country ahead of tomorrow and Saturdays’ Stanbic Music Festival alongside Zambian artists.
The artist has been captivated by the warm embrace of Zambian fans since his arrival in this beautiful country.
As anticipation reaches a crescendo, the “Miss Independent” hitmaker is gearing up to grace the Zambian stage for not one, but two unforgettable nights.
Commencing tomorrow, Ne-Yo will be the shining star of the 2023 Stanbic Music Festival, a sensational event that will echo through the nights of October 13 and 14 at Lusaka’s Polo Field.
With a grateful heart, Ne-Yo expressed his delight at the affection he’s received stating that the warm welcome he has received in Zambia is like no other he had ever received.
“Thank you for the warm love I have received. I am more than happy to be here; it is so refreshing to be here.”
“So for those of you who were debating whether to buy tickets, you can buy now because I am here. We are going to have a good time and a great show,” he promised, leaving fans brimming with excitement.
Adding to the fervor, Mwiindwa Siakalima, the Chief Executive Officer of Stanbic Bank, urged the Zambian fan base to turn out in force and witness electrifying performances not just from Ne-Yo but also from local artists.
In a remarkable move, Stanbic is committed to planting a tree for every ticket sold, a symbol of their dedication to combat the perils of climate change.
“This event will be spectacular; do not be left out,” Siakalima declared, promising an event of epic proportions.
And in a resounding chorus of support, Fumba Chama, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Youth, Sports, and Arts, rallied the public to rally behind their homegrown talents.
He underlined the significance of what Stanbic is doing, recognizing it as a crucial element in the country’s development.
As the stage lights prepare to dazzle, the 2023 Stanbic Music Festival promises to be a showcase of international talent, local artistry, and a shared commitment to a greener future.
