Six out of 38 candidates that sat for the FIFA Agents exams in Zambia have passed their examinations but will await the final stage for certification.
The sextet will now await certification by FIFA upon payment of the requisite license fee.
FIFA recently announced revised certification of agents hitherto known as intermediaries which compels prospective candidates to undergo a FIFA prescribed examination.
Intermediaries that held licenses for the 2022/2023 season were exempted from writing exams but will have to undergo examination for the September round.
Meanwhile the registration for the second FIFA Agents Examination has opened and will close on July 31, 2023.
Prospective candidates are advised to apply to FIFA through the Worldwide Agents Online Registration Platform (AORP).
Exams for the second window will be held on September 20, 2023.
FAZ will orient prospective candidates on May 13 at a workshop in Lusaka (venue will be confirmed in due course).
“The Association will run its second, one day workshop on Saturday, May 13, 2023, at a venue to be communicated in due course. This workshop will be aimed at equipping the participants with the knowledge on how to use the Agents Online Registration Platform (AORP),” says FAZ acting General Secretary Iva Lengwe.
“All participants must pay participating fee of K500 as contribution to the cost of venue hire, refreshments and lunch while those coming outside Lusaka will be expected to cater for their own accommodation.”
