Rico Ricardo Music and Black Collab to bring back the 90s in style

WHILE the young generation referred to as Gen Z have their type of music which has taken over media platforms, Rico Ricardo Music in collaboration with ‘Black’ will bringing together an avengers line up of club DJs from the 90s to take people down memory lane.

 

The line up includes renowned club DJs including DJ Ricardo and Chilu Lemba among others who be in charge of the controllers to play greatest bangers of the 90s in an event dubbed the 90’s Party Reunion Party.

 

Speaking during a media breakfast last Tuesday, DJ Ricardo said the party aimed at not only taking people back in time but a platform for people to reconnected, have a good time network and source for business.

 

He said the 90’s Reunion Party has been held for ten successful years but due to the outbreak of the global pandemic in 2019, it the event went for a break.

 

DJ Ricardo said this year’s event will be held on June 3 at the Black Bistro Lounge and Cocktail Kitchen, Twin Palm Mall in Lusaka with pre sales pegged at K150.

 

The event is scheduled to start at 15:00 hours until late, so as to accommodate those who will be carrying their families, and the young generation so that they learn a few moves or two from the oldies.

 

“Most of the times we meet only during funerals, the 90s reunion help us to touch base with other friends, with the DJs from the 90s to relieve and tell the story of the days back then,” Ricardo said.

 

He added that they will strive to make the reunion every year as a number of sponsors are coming on board.

 

And Black chief executive officer Nasho Some said events like the 90s Reunion Party and will help businesses in Zambia to thrive while at the same time helping people to have a good time.

    issue. I’ve tried it in two different browsers
    and both show the same results.
