DISASTER Management and Mitigation Unit (DMMU) former national coordinator Chanda Kabwe has been cautioned and warned by Lusaka police for being in possession of a stolen property.
According to a statement issued to #kalemba by Zambia Police deputy spokesperson Danny Mwale, the 43 year old was in possession of a Toyota Hilux bearing registration number BAC 7395.
Today, Chanda appeared before the police investigations team where a warn and caution statement has been recorded from him, for being in possession of the vehicle.
“Toyota Hilux is among other properties under investigations as proceeds of crime under the company called Bellum whose directors are said to be on the run,” Mwale said.
“The motor vehicle which is believed to be in his possession, was intercepted along the Great North Road around Katuba area on April 20, 2023.”
