FRESH from his election as new PF Lusaka Province Chairperson, Kennedy Kamba; endearingly known as ‘Kambamfwile’ by his green followers, has extended an olive branch to former PF members who were suspended or expelled.
The Lusaka PF boss who addressed party officials in Kafue announced a wholesale lifting of all suspensions and a call to party members to embrace the prodigal members returning from political wilderness.
In lifting the suspensions, Kamba however cautioned the returning members to adhere to discipline or they would be thrown back into the political desert.
Kamba said that there was no need to hold grudges because doing so would have a negative impact on the party.
“If you are a leader at any structure within the party, let your presence of good leadership be felt by everyone. I don’t want any form of division. If you are a leader here in Kafue, my word to you is that, let us work together. Respect for structure is of paramount importance. We are here because of the people at grassroot level,”.
Meanwhile, on the hot issue of adoptions, Kamba urged the structures to adopt one of their own and not import candidates so as to ensure maximum votes for the party.
