Dake Seleyi has been a teacher of Art and Design for over two decades.
Today marks 24 years of his teaching service.
During his career, the 49- year-old has taught at Kamwala secondary School, Dela Gardie Gymnasiet in Lidkoping, Sweden and he is currently teaching at Kamwala South.
Literally hundreds if not thousands of learners have been taught by him.
He says his best moments as a teacher have been to see learners who once walked in his class timid and lacking confidence become successful members of society.
“I feel I have done my part and thank God they passed through my hands,” Seleyi tells #Kalemba.
He is now contemplating retiring.
“I hope I have made an impact as I consider retiring,” he says!
Seleyi studied teaching Art and Design at Evelyn Hone College in Lusaka.
He then did project planning and management, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Education Leadership and Management
