POLICE in Lusaka have arrested a 53-year-old man for defiling a 2-year-old child.
Jonathan Mwewa was apprehended by alert residents of Kanyama and surrendered to Police after he defiled the child of his neighbor.
The child is said to have strayed to Mwewa’s house yesterday around 17:00 where he assaulted her.
Police spokesperson Esther Mwaata Katongo confirmed the arrest of the evil man in a statement to #Kalemba.
Katongo said a formal report was made by the father of the victim aged 38.
