POLICE in Ndola are investigating a 70-year-old man who has been reported to have been sexually abusing his biological granddaughter for the past six years.
While withholding the identities of the people involved, Police spokesperson Esther Mwaata Katongo said the old man had been abusing the victim who is now 16 since 2015.
Katongo said a cousin of the victim, a woman of Pamodzi VCL reported the incestuous matter to Police saying the latest abuse happened on January 10, 2021.
According to the report, the old man has abused the young girl on several occasions.
“Investigations have been instituted,” revealed Katongo.
