MEET the CEO and founder of Edna photography Zambia. Born as Edna Banda on 25th of September in Lusaka Zambia.
She discovered her passion for Photography in 2011 after working in a photo studio for 10 years.
According to her, she got inspired by Olimix because his works were amazing hence she started going with him to shoot weddings after work on weekends.
When asked whether in any way she felt intimidated in her work as a female photographer, she replied; “Yes there is one big photographer who intimidated me when we were shooting, he did know what I was doing till the results made him hide his pictures after I posted my work.”
Her greatest achievement is owning a studio that she wants to transform into her biggest dream of having a biggest media house.
Other than being a professional Photographer, Edna also does some church works by shooting in church such that on Sunday she can’t even take a job slot if people call her for Sunday appointments because she is so dedicated to work for my God .
Edna is also a mother of a handsome boy,
” I have a sweetest son who tells me mummy has to work for me to have all that I want .he’s 7 but his mind works like an adult when he knows am leaving he hugs me and tell me he loves me I will be rich soon I can stop working so hard”.
“That makes me work extra hard coz am a single parent. When I’m not working I spend time with him (son).
Her advice, “The future belongs to those who dream. Be determined and focus on what you want go for it people will discouraged you but know what you want follow your heart. Ladies do what your heart tells you to do remember everyone has a chance in life. The Bible says in Ecclesiastes 9:11 I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all. “
