RYAN PHIRI, the pupil who was beaten to death allegedly using golf sticks in an interschool brawl was today buried at Leopards Hill Cemetery in Lusaka.
The juvenile was killed in the so-called Kabulonga Boys Secondary School versus Twin Palm Secondary School ‘tuff rivalry’ which has seen unprecedented violence leading to the death of Ryan who was waylaid and ambushed on his way to buy food during break time.
After burial, Ryan’s uncle Raphael Nakacinda called for relevant ministries, among them, religious affairs to resolve the violent culture before more lives are lost.
Meanwhile, police investigations are still underway.
