A 20-YEAR-OLD illegal miner has been buried alive in Mkushi District, Central Province after a manganese dumpsite collapsed on him.
The miner, who has only been identified as Justine, met his fate at a manganese mine yesterday around 15:30 hours, reports ZNBC reporter Paul Shalala.
Mkushi Town Council public relations officer Clarence Kaoma says the Fire Brigade rushed to the scene soon after the mine collapsed but found the miner had already died.
