POLICE in Lusaka have confirmed the death of Ryan Phiri, a Kabulonga Boys pupil saying his attackers who are learners at Twin Palm School beat him up with golf sticks.
The 17-year-old Grade 12 pupil died around 18:00 hours in the University Teaching Hospital (UTH) after the attack earlier in the day.
According to a statement issued by Police spokesperson Esther Mwaata, Ryan was reported to have been in the company of three colleagues who ran away after being attacked.
“Investigations have been instituted,” stated Katongo.
