YESTERDAY marked 38 years since Njengembaso David Jere ascended to the throne of Paramount Chief Mpezeni of the Ngoni of Eastern Province.
And far as Zindaba Soko is concerned, Paramount Chief Mpezeni is a courageous and patriotic Zambian.
Speaking shortly after visiting the Ngoni traditional leader who is now marking 38 years on the throne, the former Road Transport and Safety Agency RTSA boss said all easterners were proud of Chief Mpezeni.
Soko who is aspiring to contest Chipata Central Constituency held a closed door meeting with Paramount Chief Mpezeni and several Ngoni Chiefs at Empedukeni Palace in Chipata.
