Ministry of Finance spokesperson Chileshe Kandeta’s son Mwango Kandeta has died after jumping from the main building at Government Complex
Police spokesperson Esther Mwaata-Katongo confirmed the death of the 20-year-old ZCAS student.
“Officers rushed to the scene and found a body of the deceased with several injuries and was later identified as male Mwango Kandeta aged 20 years, a student at ZICAS College,” Katongo explained.
She said Mwango is reported to have jumped from the 14th floor, using the toilet window and left his slippers and a half full bottle of Coca cola inside the toilet where he had initially locked himself.
The door was forced open by the Police.
She said the incident happened this afternoon around 16:30 hours.
