DORCAS dropped out of school last year due to the fact she could no longer bear the pain of walking such a long distance to school barefoot for she could not put on shoes then.
She first came to the hospital earlier this year and she has had surgeries to correct the clubfoot.
Dorcas came back for a follow up visit and she was all smiles because her healing is near completion! She had one more little procedure on her left leg to complete the correction and she has gone back home, healed, and independent.
We are happy that this young girl has been given a chance to have a bright future and we pray that she will now be enrolled in school especially now that she finds it easy to walk to school.
