SOCIALIST Party Zambia president Dr Fred M’membe has urged Zambians to adhere to all regulations being given by authorities in defending themselves against COVID-19 as well as curb the spread.
In a Facebook posting, Dr M’membe pointed out that the COVID-19 pandemic was “extremely lethal” while expressing worry that cases in Zambia had continued rising.
“We urge all Zambians to remain vigilant and careful at all times,” Dr M’membe stated.
“While the regulations are being softened, the dangers remain very real.
It is important that we continue to abide by the strict regulations set out by the World Health Organization and Zambian authorities,” added Dr M’membe.
Zambia has so far recorded 267 confirmed cases of the COVID-19 with seven deaths.
Globally, the Coronavirus has infected more than 4 million people and claimed close to 300,000 lives.
