THE University Teaching Hospital (UTH) in Lusaka has rejected a meat donation from The Meatery Butchery-Deli- Grocer saying it was too bony.
The company attempted to make the meat donation this morning.
“This donation that came was meant for the patients meals however it turned out that most of it was bony.The hospital has since rejected the donation and the donor has been informed of the decision by management,” UTH spokesperson Natalie Mashikolo told #Kalemba.
According to witnesses, the “borny beef” surprised many onlookers who opted to take pictures of it after learning that it was meant as donation to the UTH.
