Lungu snubs Lusambo

PRESIDENT Edgar Lungu has excluded his self-appointed chief bootlicker from the new list of Patriotic Front Central Committee members.

Despite heaping mountains upon mountain ranges of praises on his boss, the Lusaka Province minister failed to make it on the 58-man preferred list of the Members of Central Committees (MCCs) which President Lungu presented for ratification at the just-ended PF General Conference.

Lusambo was thrown to the proverbial ‘ku wire’ in preference for newcomers like Charles Kakoma who is set to celebrate a mere three weeks in PF sometime this week.

The bulldozers snub follows another electoral shock during the PF Copperbelt provincial elections where his preferred candidates where shamed to humiliating losses forcing him to wheelchair them to the informal party committee he heads called the Mobilisation Committee.

Also conspicuously left on the list on MCCs are; former presidential political advisor Kaizer Zulu and celebrity Lusaka Mayor Miles Sampa among others.
