WINNERS of the first-ever beauty pageant for ladies with big bodies have put their legal weight on organisers of the pageant for failure to give them their prizes.
In the matter before the Lusaka Magistrate’s Court, the big beauties have sued Zebra Events Design who were the organisers of Miss Plus Size Zambia seeking an order to be given their prizes namely K10, 000 Cash plus an iPhone 8 Plus (worthy K15, 500.00) for Beatrice Malauzi the pageant winner, an iPhone 7 Plus (worthy K14, 500.00) for Faith Sholoma and a new Huwaei P20 (worth K9, 500.00) for Idah Phiri.
The trio is also seeking compensation for breach of contract.
