THE Constitutional Court of Zambia has dismissed the Law Association of Zambia (LAZ) and Chapter One’s petition against the controversial Constitution of Zambia Amendment Bill no.10 of 2019
The Court delivered an abridged Judgment with a Majority decision by six Judges against a dissenting one by justice professor Margaret Munalula.
Judge Enock Mulembe ruled that the court had no jurisdiction to question the contents of Bill no. 10 of 2019 or declare it unconstitutional under Article 128 of the Constitution.
