The first contention was that no song should be played if the promoter has criminal proceedings. A member of the Knock Unit also alleged that the motive behind was to sway minds of real praise singers. So it was that the star studded ensemble of J. Kembo, A. Wilo, Ndani Crazy and other Che Stars, had their song put on ice.
The Up and Down has since constituted a powerful committee to consider banning the song.
The team headed by serial defector Quack Homer, and other turncoats from the former ruling party will decide its fate. Since voting will be by wriggle of waists, it is likely that this new familiar song will instead be made viral. Kembo temunobe!
